About this event
Join Music in-Takht for an evening that traces the evolution of Egyptian music.
We open with the golden age of Egyptian classical music, performed with the precision, detail, and virtuosity it deserves. From there, we move into today’s contemporary landscape, where Egyptian tradition meets jazz, European classical, Cuban salsa, and beyond. We close with new original works by our own members, carrying the tradition into its next chapter.
And we have a surprise! Egyptian singer Marwa Morgan joins us as our special guest, gracing our evening with two songs you won’t want to miss. We are honored to share the stage with her. 🤍
Where Egyptian music has been, where it stands today, and where it’s going next, all in one evening. 🎶✨
