Privacy Policy

Arab American Cultural Center of Silicon Valley, 3968 Twilight Dr, Bldg 2, San Jose, CA 95124. We are a non-profit community organization. If you have a question about this policy, write to aaccsv.center@gmail.com.

Contact form: your name, email address, zip code, message and the subject you pick. Your phone number is optional.

Newsletter sign-up: your email address.

Donations are made on Zeffy, a separate service. We never see or store your card details.

Our servers keep ordinary technical logs, such as the pages visited and the time. We do not use them to identify you.

We use your details to reply to your message, to send the newsletter if you signed up, and to plan our events and programs. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.

These services process information for us, only to run the site and our email:

Vercel hosts this website. Sanity stores the website's content and a copy of messages sent through the contact form. Resend delivers contact form messages to us by email. Mailchimp sends our newsletter, and records whether it was opened and which links were clicked. Zeffy handles donations.

Our pages link to other sites, such as Google Maps and Instagram. Their own privacy policies apply once you open them.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie is one used by our staff while they edit the site. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals because we do not track you across other websites.

We keep contact messages only as long as we need them to reply and for our records, and then delete them. Newsletter addresses stay on the list until you unsubscribe.

Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email aaccsv.center@gmail.com and we will do it.

This website is meant for adults and families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
