Palestine Cinema Days Around the World at Stanford

Community Event

About this event

Join the “Palestine Cinema Days Around the World” at Stanford University, an annual international film festival established in 2014 by Filmlab Palestine. The fourth global edition launches on November 2, 2026, hosting over 1,000 screenings internationally. We will extend our screenings into November 3, Democracy Day at Stanford.

This year, four recent feature films will be screened in McMurtry Building (Room 115), and a series of short films at the Institute for Diversity in the Arts (Harmony House, 561 Lomita Drive). Through a mix of documentary and fiction, these films capture the remarkable diversity of Palestinian life in Gaza, the Galilee, Golan Heights, Jerusalem, and in diaspora. Each screening will be followed by a discussion with the film’s director or with a scholar to explore how food, play, friendship, and memory-keeping become acts of resistance and survivance.

Join for some or all the films, and participate in a global movement to keep Palestinian stories centered in the midst of ongoing occupation and genocide.
